A full day dedicated to elevating how you shoot, communicate, and lead on a wedding day.
Join me at Guilded Grey Events for an eight hour deep dive into everything that makes wedding photography intentional, efficient, and emotionally driven. This workshop is designed for photographers who want to strengthen their wedding day workflow, communicate with confidence, and create galleries that feel natural, clean, and true to the couple.
We’ll kick off the morning with the business foundation. We’ll walk through client communication, timeline planning, expectation setting, organization, and how to create a calm and supportive experience for your couples from inquiry to delivery. We will also dig into marketing, booking, pricing, and how to position yourself in a saturated market without losing your personality or your sanity.
In the late afternoon, we shift fully into shooting. You’ll photograph a model couple and a complete detail setup, giving you hands-on experience with posing, movement, lighting challenges, and building a cohesive story. We will spend time on my approach to details and flatlays, which is rooted in photographing with the final album in mind. Instead of shooting details as simple stand-alone items, I’ll walk you through how I build scenes with layers, texture, and purpose so they flow naturally with portraits and create stronger storytelling. You will learn how I choose backgrounds, how I build depth, how I work fast under pressure, and how I keep details consistent throughout an entire wedding day.
You’ll watch me demonstrate each section, then you will shoot alongside me, building a polished and cohesive set of portfolio images.
We will end the day with an optional dinner together at a nearby restaurant. It is casual and on your own, and it always ends up being one of the best parts of the experience. This is where we talk shop, workflow, boundaries, burnout, goals, and all the things that don’t always fit neatly into a schedule.
You will leave with clearer systems, stronger shooting skills, a refreshed portfolio, and the confidence to approach every wedding day with intention, ease, and purpose.
